Advice that's willing to say "don't" too

From IT strategy to integration architecture. We help you decide what needs to happen, in what order, and what you're better off leaving alone.

Independent advice is only worth something if it's willing to go against your own proposal too. Adjusting a process is often cheaper than adjusting a system, and not every question calls for software.

Most consulting engagements don't fail at the analysis stage but at translating it into action. A report gets delivered, there's buy-in, and then it turns out no one knows what will actually be different on Monday. That's why we work from the very first conversation toward decisions that are actionable: which system stays, which system goes, in what order, and what it costs.

We can do this because we also build it ourselves. We won't write down advice that we wouldn't want to carry out.

IT strategy

A strategy is mainly a list of what you're not going to do. We map out your current landscape, hold it up against your growth plans, and pinpoint where the bottlenecks will emerge later, not just where they happen to sit today.

The result isn't a vision document but a sequence: which step comes first, what it delivers, and what you can postpone without risk. Including a five-year calculation, because a choice that's cheap today can turn out to be the most expensive one in three years.

Digital transformation

The word says little, so let's make it concrete: which process changes, who notices it, and what it delivers. A transformation that can't be traced back to those three questions is usually a project without an owner.

In practice it's about removing intermediate steps: the export that gets updated by hand, the spreadsheet that stands in for an integration, the colleague who's the only one who knows how it really works. Each of those workarounds is a place where technology can take over the work, and every workaround that stays in place is a place where something will go wrong later.

Making it future-proof

Outdated systems rarely cost the most in licenses. They cost in manual work, in missed opportunities, and in risk that only becomes visible once it goes wrong. Our modernization projects focus on replacing or unlocking what you're stuck with, without bringing operations to a halt.

Customization in moderation

Every company has its own requirements, but not every requirement deserves its own module. We always work down the same ladder: first configuration, then an existing module from the Odoo Community Association, and only after that custom code. That keeps your environment maintainable, and keeps a version upgrade a routine check instead of a project.

Where that line sits, and what the hidden costs are of both too much and too little customization, we've written up. How much customization does your Odoo really need? →

Integrations and connections

Your ERP rarely stands alone. EDI with a major customer, e-invoicing via UBL and Peppol, machines on the shop floor, your accountant's system, or an industry-specific exchange format. We design the integration architecture so systems understand each other without a manual step in between.

The starting point is to keep it thin: the logic belongs in your system, not in the connection. That saves maintenance on both sides with every upgrade.

HOW AN ENGAGEMENT STARTS

Three conversations, and you'll know where you stand

1. Assessment

What's running today, what does it cost, and where does it get stuck? We look through your systems with you rather than working from what should be there.

2. Trade-offs

The options side by side, with the costs over five years included. Including the scenario where you do nothing, because that's a choice with a price too.

3. Advice & Proposal

A plan that starts with the step that delivers the fastest result, so buy-in builds before things get truly invasive.
